Afghan Jewelry I bought these pieces some years ago for their unique and interesting designs. They are are made using the metals, stones, beads and other embellishments native to the area. Some are set with lapis, carnelian and amber. Rarely it may be a composite material. I have been told most of these pieces are antique. I do not know. I am in no way an expert on jewelry.
